assistance. The charge for materials is $2.00
for the first copied page and $1.00 for each
one thereafter.

The Society’s library is housed on the
first floor of the Wood County Courthouse complex.
The Society’s office is open Monday –
Friday 9:00am to 12:00 noon.
Search Tips:
Headlines: The best way to
search is for a single word, but phrase searching
is more specific.
For example:
Sad (will retrieve
all records with the word "sad" in
the headline, and the name Rampersad, Wolfe)
Sad Day (will retrieve
"Sad Day at the Fair", "It was
a Sad Day")
Dates: When searching by date,
you are searching the date the articles and
photos appeared in the newspaper, not the date
of the incident or activity. The format of the
dates is YEAR-MO-DY; March
24th, 1958 is listed as 1958-03-24.
Some examples are below:
